Service Notice

  • General waste must be placed in official Taipei City government garbage bags.

  • Two bags are required per pickup: one for trash and one for recyclables.

  • Food waste can be collected using regular transparent plastic bags.

  • Current pickup days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

  • (No service on Wednesday & Sunday)

  • Zhongshan: Open except north of Minquan E. Rd.
  • Xinyi: Limited (only south of Xinyi Rd. & Hulin area unavailable)
  • Wenshan: Limited (Zhinan Rd. Sec. 3 and part of Pingdong Rd. unavailable)
  • Neihu: Limited (only south of Neihu Rd. & Kangning Rd. available)

If your pickup method requires staff to access a building entrance or mailbox area, here’s how to hand over your key:

1.If you are home during the first pickup:

Our staff will contact you and collect the key directly.

2.If you are not home during pickup:

Please leave the key in your mailbox or attach it near your door using a labeled key pouch or envelope. Our staff will pick it up securely.

  • General waste: Use official Taipei City bags (must have volume printed).
  • Recyclables: Separate clean paper, plastics, glass, and metal.
  • Food waste: Remove liquids and seal tightly. Avoid overfilling.
  • Each bag should be clearly separated and tied. Improper sorting may result in rejection.
  • Your plan includes a certain liter (L) limit per pickup.
  • Staff will estimate based on the labeled bag or physical inspection.
  • If the volume exceeds your plan, you’ll be notified or charged for the excess.
  • Notify TRA LINE account by 6:00 PM the day before your next pickup.
  • Extra volume will be collected for an additional fee.
  • If you do not notify us, excess trash may not be collected.

If violations occur 3 times within 3 months, service may be suspended. Violations include:

  1. Incorrect sorting or unclean recyclables
  2. Leaking, unsealed, or rotting waste
  3. Overfilled or unlabeled trash bags
  • Items include: bulky waste, electronics, wood, glass, batteries, paint, chemicals, hazardous items, pet remains, or industrial/business trash
  • Trash not properly bagged or left exposed
  • Users with repeated violations
